Minutes for meeting 1

Next meeting: 12 November 2010, 12:00, New King's 9

1. Blog 

Stella is to set up a blog by Thursday 11 November at latest and to send the team members and course co-ordinators the url and password. Chris suggested we all contribute to the blog by editing it when we find interesting links, ideas etc. Stella will write up the minutes for the current meeting and we will discuss whether to appoint a pemanent secretary or to take turns after each meeting.

2. Rough timetable for the next five weeks
w/e
12/11    General read through of biofuels (though we all recognise because of the PX4009 test on Thursday 11 November, we will only get a limited amount done. Research will be reassessed at next meeting.)
19/11    Finalise decision on which biofuel to present
26/11    Presentation finalised to start rehearsal for following Monday
3/12      Rehearsal and fine-tuning finished

Monday 6 December - presentation

3. Initial research split

All team members are to do general research on biofuels, but have also been assigned different areas to provide some direction so that we have something different to offer at the next meeting. The work assigned is as follows:

1st generation biofuels - Bryan
2nd - Louise
3rd - Stella
4th - Chris 

This may be subject to change.

4. Other business

Stella will ascertain deadlines for other courses so we may plan our work accordingly.
